Welcome!
Curious to see more of Jesus in the Old Testament? What’s so captivating is how so many Scriptures reveal the Lord Jesus Christ. “And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, [Jesus] interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself” (Luke 24:27 ESV). Have you seen the surprising love story between Jesus and His bride—from Leviticus? Yes, He’s there! Zechariah features a surprising glimpse at the Trinity, a behind the scenes peek into heaven as Roman soldiers beat the crown of thorns into Jesus’ brow. Goliath’s sword is a powerful portrait of Jesus’ conquering that the Gospel of Mark highlights through literary hyperlinks. These are but a few examples. There’s so much to explore!
It’s my prayer that these blogs may stoke your love for Jesus and foster dependence on the Holy Spirit to unveil His unsearchable riches in the pages of your Bible. As we see Jesus’ glory, the Spirit actually transforms us from glory to glory (2Co 3:18)! O taste and see that the Lord is good (Ps 34:8)!

Bethlehem’s Star Still Leads
While Bethlehem (the “house of bread”) is on everyone’s mind, the Lord Jesus is leading every one of His followers to another “house”—Bethany (“beth” means house). “Then he led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up his hands he blessed them” (Luke 24:50). Situated on the Mount of Olives, little Bethany was right…
